An Izakaya-inspired gastropub in the heart of Central. This newcomer is set to offer hungry and thirsty city-dwellers a vast selection of made-to-order Musubi creations as well as sake, Japanese beer on tap and cocktails with the promise that everyone who steps through its doors will leave with full bellies and hearts. Sitting under the iconic Soho escalators, the 60-seater restaurant is the brainchild of owner and founder Arturo Sims whose extensive experience in the food and beverage industry spans across Chile, Peru, USA, France, Switzerland, Thailand and Hong Kong.
Musubi Hiro’s inspiration derives from Japanese Tokusatsu, the Kaiju monsters and the Kyodai heroes that have been travelling the world since the 1960s, expanding, transforming and blending Japanese culture globally. With a setting that stays true to its vision, the aesthetics of the restaurant feature two rooms with chef-hosted bars where every guest is directly served by the chefs. The lively atmosphere is set by a combination of Japanese hip hop, the personality of the chefs, clinking of glasses and the downing of sake and beer alongside delicious snacks and Musubi.
